BOARD OF OPEN SCHOOLING & SKILL EDUCATION (BOSSE)
The Board of Open Schooling and Skill Education (BOSSE) in Sikkim helps students up to the pre-degree level with various educational needs, including Secondary/Senior Secondary and skill-based education. BOSSE was created under Act No.14 of 2020 by the Sikkim Legislative Assembly on 21-09-2020 to promote open schooling education locally and nationally.

BOSSE’s graduates have the advantage of Equivalence from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), allowing them to seek admission to universities, colleges, and higher education institutions across India and beyond. Moreover, BOSSE is endorsed by the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, ensuring that its certificates hold the same value as those from national and state-level boards.
